Oliver Pauk is a self-taught photographer living in Toronto, Canada. He received his degree in Economics from the University of Toronto in 2005 and has since been involved in the arts through his own photographic work as well as through Akin Collective, the shared art studio that he founded in 2008. His projects deal mainly with the subjects of nostalgia, gentrification and loss, often from an economic standpoint as well as with aspects of the photographic process itself. Oliver’s photographs have been shown in various exhibitions in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
